I completed the Ultimate Blog Challenge!

UBC-completed-smallI made it to blog number 30, so I am celebrating today!
It has been quite a journey and I can’t believe that it is over already. It is said that to create a habit it takes 21 days to bed the habit in. Writing has definitely become a habit and one that is here to stay. I won’t be blogging every day in future, but I will be continuing to write. It has shown me that little and often soon builds momentum and before long I will have a whole book to show for it. It has also been really useful to see which topics people have responded to and commented on, that has been great learning. So if you have ‘liked’ or commented – thank you so much, it means a lot.
Achieving our goals is a form of completion – it shows us what we can do when we put our minds to it and it motivates us to achieve even more.
So what have I got out of the ultimate blog challenge?
• I have realised that I can write – not just because I have written, but because lots of people have told me so – thank you!
• I have always had the feeling that I would write a book one day – that day is approaching faster!
• Part of the concept of the UBC was to read and comment on two other blogs – I stumbled across blogs that I would never have found otherwise and really enjoyed reading them.
• Several of my friends were in the challenge, so we commented on each other’s too – that has been great – I have got to know them better and have learned so much more about a topic that I was completely ignorant of – Autism – my heart goes out to all parents of autistic children – please be understanding and patient if a child isn’t your definition of a model child – they may have autism – suspend judgement. I have thoroughly enjoyed your blogs Nadine, Caroline, Harriet and Jacqui.

Thank you too for all of my lovely supportive First Impressions Consultants who have given me support, feedback and encouragement and of course my fabulous family too,
What have you been putting off for a while that could be achieved by setting a goal or an intention to do it? I am happy to hold you accountable!

It’s been great sharing my thoughts with you!

Until the next time
