Fizz and Thai Take Out

A light hearted post for Sunday – day 7 of the Ultimate Blog Challenge – wow I made it through week 1!  Thanks for sticking with me.

As you get to know me, you’ll notice that I like things that are in balance and harmony.  That goes for business, relationships, health, dressing, colour and life in general.

Last night we enjoyed a great evening with friends eating a take away Thai and quaffing champagne.  This morning I’m redressing the balance with a green juice and I’m just skipping out to pilates class.

Here is what went into it:

  • Apples
  • Pineapple
  • Cucumber
  • Avocado
  • Ginger
  • (Thanks Lara Williams of Love the Real You for the recipe)

And here it is – delicious!

Just one tip – if you have a jug full of juice and then you add half an avocado, make sure it is really ripe, or when you switch on the stick blender, said juice will end up all over the kitchen!!!

Right off to pilates, then looking forward to a roast lunch – I did say it is all about balance!

Wishing you a fabulous Sunday!

That looks good. Do you just juice it all then blend in half an avocado? Just beginning this juicing thing.

    • Yes, I have a whole fruit juicer, so everything goes in, then the juice is added to the avocado – it makes it nice and creamy – it works best with ripe avocados.

    • Let me know if you like it! I have made others with the same base ingredients and then adding celery, lime and spinach – they can all go into the juicer.
